Region 4 Representative Raster Set - Atlas 14 Everywhere with Areal Reduction Factors
This folder contains a representative raster set of design storm results developed by C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, L.L.C. for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) as part of the Louisiana Watershed Initiative (LWI) Statewide Data and Modeling Program under Task Order No. 4.
The folder contents include:
• Results for each of the six (6) Region 4 watersheds: Lower Calcasieu (LC), Lower Sabine (SL), Toledo Bend (TO), Upper Calcasieu (UC), West Fork Calcasieu (WF), and Whisky Chitto (WH)
• NOAA Atlas 14 with Areal Reduction Factors design storm methodology for seven (7) return periods (5yr, 10yr, 25yr, 100yr, 200yr, and 500yr) at a 24-hour storm duration for each watershed
• Maximum water surface elevation (WSE) results in NAVD88 (Geoid12B) were exported from RASMapper at a 5m (16.4042ft) resolution, with a minimum depth tolerance of 0.1ft for 2D results and 0.001ft for 1D results
• West Fork Calcasieu (WF) and Upper Calcasieu (UC) 1D and 2D results were combined into a single raster per design storm
• All rasters are provided in GeoTIFF (.tif) format and additional supplemental files generated by ArcGIS Pro are included for improved performance and visualization, such as .tif.aux.xml and .tif.ovr file types
• The rasters are provided in the source model horizontal coordinate systems, detailed below:
o Toledo Bend (TO) watershed: NAD83(2011) / Louisiana North (ftUS) (EPSG:6478)
o All other Region 4 watersheds: NAD83(2011) / Louisiana South (ftUS) (EPSG:6479)
