LWI Region 5 Mermentau Headwaters - HEC-RAS Simulation: Delta 2020 Validation
On October 9, 2020, Hurricane Delta made landfall near Creole, Louisiana, as a category 2 hurricane. The period of October 7 to 15, 2020, will be simulated in the HEC-RAS validation modeling effort ( Tropical Weather). The precipitation for this period was up to 21.24 inches for areas in the watershed. The hydrology for this event is derived from HEC-HMS model developed by HDR for Mermentau Headwaters region.
