LWI R7 Lake Maurepas NRPS PoC RAS: Fluvial Proposed 50YR SST 8ft
Proof of Concept model of proposed conditions at Bayou Manchac and New River for proposed New River Pump Station. Target pump rate of 1200 cfs with open 8' x 70' flood gate structure at Hwy 74 and channel modifications leading to pump sump area. Flooding from backwater with storm center over Amite River basin. Initial water surface elevation set at 8 ft for Spanish Lake/Bayou Manchac area. Flood gates at Manchac Rd closed throughout run time.
